Evan M. Rabinowitz holds a Masters of Acupuncture degree from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, in Columbia Maryland. He is Nationally Board Certified by the National Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). He received his Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University, Washington DC, where he studied Comparative Religion and Traditional Eastern Philosophies.
In 2002, he was recognized by the U.S. Department of Health for his "outstanding contribution to Asian Medicine". Evan is faculty in the Chinese Herbal Medicine Department at the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture, Miami where he lectures on internal medicine, Five Element Herbal theory, and is a clinical supervisor. He also frequently lectures publicly on Chinese medicine and Chinese philosophy and most recently was a guest lecturer at Roanoke College discussing the relationship between Religion and Traditional medicine and cosmology. Evan spent several years apprenticing to herbalist Thea Elijah and is currently deepening his studies with Jeffery Yuen, 88th generation Taoist priest.
